As this recent NY Times article makes clear, hackers are making a fortune running up phony charges on companies’ IP phones.

If your company uses an internet-based phone service, make sure your phone server is secure, and ask the service provider about their policy for charges that are incurred by hackers.

You may also want to consider a hosted VoIP solution.
